The name and logo were festively unveiled on June 20. Starting August 1, they will officially adopt the joint name Kindcentrum Aalsterbos.

Kinderopvang Ekenrooi and Christoffelschool are merging under a new name: Kindcentrum Aalsterbos. This name change marks a fresh start for the school and childcare under the governance of Atalenta.

Kindcentrum Aalsterbos offers a rich learning environment for children aged 0 to 13, ensuring a seamless transition between childcare and primary education. The professionals combine their expertise to provide optimal guidance for all children.

A shared mission and vision
In the coming months, Aalsterbos will initiate a process to develop a shared mission and vision, closely involving parents, teachers, and educational professionals. “We are working on a future vision that meets the unique needs of our children,” explains Ilse Obdeijn, director of Kinderopvang Ekenrooi .
Aalsterbos will make the new name and logo visible in the coming weeks.
