Corné has extensive work experience in higher education, childcare and primary education. Since 2016 he has been working as director Food & Industry at HAS green academy, college for agro food and living environment. He is also a supervisor at several foundations with childcare and primary education. As chairman of the Supervisory Board of Stichting Samenwijs Opvang & Onderwijs in Hilvarenbeek, he was involved in the merger process between childcare and education.
With Corné's appointment, Atalenta has taken the first step in the formation of a two-member, collegial board. A new board member will be recruited in the fall. Corné is looking forward to working at Atalenta: "I have come to know Atalenta as an ambitious organization where the development of children from 0 to 13 years is paramount. There is a great task for the coming years to further shape Atalenta's ambition. From the strength and passion that is palpable within the organization, we will continue to build on our social mission."
